Opinion on new classes
To me, the Dervish and the Paragons are too powerful. This can cause imbalances among other classes. Before the update, warriors were the alpha physical damage dealers. Now, dervish are even stronger and better. Compare to the warriors, their scythe's maximum damage is 41, even more than the hammer. They really need to fix this.

When I tested out the Dervish, it seemed that while I could hit 76 on one player, if I hit more than one player, my damage was divided equally between the players, making me half as strong if I was hitting a second person, and so on... The paragon is very easy to kill...

This is just a preview. If they really are overpowered, they will get toned down.
BTW, wrong forum I think. |

Monk/Paragon is something that I rubbed my hands when I saw the skills.

watch the strike times of the Dervish weapon...a bit slower than hammers me thinks...no nerf needed if the striking time is slower eh?

I'd think that it would be slower than hammers because the weaps do 7-41 and have permanent AoE..

After farting around with both for a few moments (all the time I could afford the two classes :< ) I've determined that both feel pretty overpowered. Likely they'll be toned down for release, but I think that both will still be a worthy addition to the lineup even after a Nerf pummeling.

Hammers are slower (1.75s)
Scythes (1.5s) I would say its still balanced tho since hammers have knockdowns. |

Of course they were overpowered. This whole event was a commercial for Nightfall, both classes *will* be toned down for the actual release.
The exact same thing happened with rits and assassins under the Factions PvP weekend event. |
